Frequently asked questions

Questions are useful before the form.

Loan language can make a simple situation sound settled before the important details are visible. This page separates what LoanLala can organise from what only the lender can decide.

Browse the questions
Is LoanLala a bank or lender?

No. LoanLala is a loan sourcing, preparation and coordination desk. The bank or financial institution independently decides eligibility, rate, fees, sanction, security acceptance and disbursement.

Does submitting an enquiry guarantee approval?

No. An enquiry helps classify the requirement and prepare the first discussion. It is not an approval, sanction, rate commitment or promise that a lender will accept the case.

How does LoanLala decide which loan route to discuss?

The starting route is based on the purpose, applicant profile, existing obligations, property or project position and the point where the case is stuck. A lender then applies its own product and credit policy.

Can I choose a public sector bank?

You can state your preference. The practical route still depends on the bank’s current scheme, service area, project or security acceptance, applicant eligibility and willingness to process the case.

Will LoanLala find the lowest interest rate?

The lowest advertised rate may not be the final rate for a particular borrower. A useful comparison also looks at tenure, fees, total interest, transfer costs, conditions and servicing needs.

Why does the loan-transfer calculator show annual interest and total payment?

A lower EMI alone can hide a longer tenure or higher total cost. The calculator shows the next twelve months, remaining interest, total remaining payment and estimated net saving after the expenses entered.

Are calculator results a bank quotation?

No. They are estimates based only on the figures entered. Actual outstanding, interest method, reset dates, fees, taxes, insurance, legal costs and sanctioned terms may change the result.

Should I compare a personal or vehicle loan only by EMI?

No. EMI shows monthly cash flow. Also compare the financed amount, tenure, interest, charges and total amount repaid.

What documents should I upload on the public website?

The website forms are not meant for sensitive KYC, financial or property files. Do not upload or paste Aadhaar, PAN, bank statements, tax returns, passwords, account credentials or title documents.

Why can a file be weak even when all documents are available?

The records may be outdated, incomplete or inconsistent. Income, bank credits, obligations, dates, ownership and the stated purpose should tell one coherent story.

What happens to the information entered in an enquiry?

The information is used to reply to the enquiry, keep a case record and, where you agree, discuss the case with an appropriate banking or service channel. See the Privacy Notice for more details.

Can someone submit another person’s details?

Only when the person has authorised the referral and the sender has a lawful reason to share the information. Partner handovers should record consent before personal information moves.

Why can a builder recommend one bank when I prefer another?

A project may already have a working documentation or approval route with one lender. Another bank may require its own legal, technical and project review, and the builder may need to provide documents again.

Does a project tie-up make another bank impossible?

Not automatically. It may make the route slower or require a separate review. The preferred bank independently decides whether it can examine and accept the project.

Can LoanLala get a project approved by a bank?

No. LoanLala can help identify the parties, initial information and coordination gaps. Project approval and property acceptance remain entirely with the bank.

Is property value enough for a Loan Against Property?

No. The bank may also review ownership, title, existing charges, income, repayment capacity, purpose, legal acceptability and its own loan-to-value and credit policy.

When does a loan transfer make sense?

A transfer deserves closer review when the expected reduction in future interest or other meaningful benefits exceed transfer expenses and the receiving bank’s terms suit the borrower.

Can a lower rate still be a poor transfer?

Yes. A small rate difference, low outstanding balance, short remaining tenure or high transfer expenses can remove the benefit. Extending tenure can also lower EMI while increasing total interest.

Can I transfer a loan from a private bank to a public sector bank?

It may be possible for an eligible facility, but the receiving bank conducts a new assessment of the borrower, repayment record, security, documents and its current policy.

What does a bank look at in a business loan file?

The exact assessment varies. The first file should clearly explain the funding purpose, business activity, cash flow, banking conduct, financial evidence, existing facilities, promoters and security where applicable.

Can good physical assets replace weak business cash flow?

Assets may support a secured route, but a lender still needs a credible repayment source and an acceptable purpose. Property or machinery value alone does not complete the credit case.

Who can use the Partner Desk?

Builders, developers, chartered accountants, financial consultants, property professionals, referral partners and formal banking, DSA or BSA relationships can use the Partner Desk for consented case handovers.

Does LoanLala pay or promise referral fees?

LoanLala does not promise a referral fee through the website. Any commercial arrangement must be agreed separately in writing and comply with the relevant lender and legal requirements.

What this page cannot answer

Your final rate, eligibility and sanction are case-specific.

The website can explain the route and help prepare the first discussion. It cannot replace the bank’s application, KYC, credit assessment, legal review, valuation, sanction letter or key terms.
